Yesterday while working on a top down raglan cardigan, I noticed I had made an error in the garter stitch button band. I had dropped a stitch and didn't notice it until I had knit about four more rows. I'm normally pretty confident about dropping down and picking up stitches to correct errors. Unfortunately, this one had me stumped. After dropping the stitch, I had created a button hole (K2tog, YO) in the row above. I tried different things, but I couldn't figure out how to re-knit the buttonhole.
In the end, I decided to just frog back to the row with error. But out of curiosity, is there a way to fix an error below a buttonhole?
