Rat sweater!

Ok, I am so bad. I was inspired by this discussion, and decided to knit a rat sweater. Joey and Mozambique weren't having any of it, but Miss Burundi was kind enough to put up with my craziness, and was an excellent sweater model!







Knitted with Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino on size 1 needles. No cheapie yarn for my rat!

No animals were harmed in the making of this livejournal post. Burundi was a little annoyed, but she got a piece of nectarine, and I got kisses, so I think we're ok now.

Cutest. Thing. Ever.
And of course, the advantage of knitting for small animals (rats, yappy dogs, babies) is that they don't take up much yarn, so you can splurge occasionally.
