Two posts in two days?

A couple of people wanted the chart for the railroad crossing fair-isle, so here it is.

I designed it using the theory that no color should be carried more than five stitches.

I would think it should work as a knit/purl pattern as well, though I haven't tried it that way.

Block format, which is how I initially designed it.

Using "x" to mark where the CC/purl stitches should go.

On both patterns, the arrow indicates the starting stitch. This pattern was designed to be worked in the round using colorwork; if anyone does work it up as a knit/purl pattern, please let me know how it comes out.

Clicking either pattern will bring you to a larger version, if the smaller version is hard to see.

Use as you wish; all I ask is credit for what I've got here. Or consider it a creative commons license. Whatever works best.

Hey, Mods? Can we have a Charts or pattern-charts tag pretty please?
