FO: Lacanau

As promised, the finished Lacanau slippers.


Pattern: Lacanau from the new Knitty
Yarn: Bernat Cotton Tots in pink
Needles: US7 short aluminum straights
Modifications: I only used 1 color, didn't do any embroidery, knit the left and right sides of the top together from the beginning (instead of in 2 pieces), did the ties as crochet chains instead of i-cords (because I hate making i-cords), and skipped adding any sort of semi-real sole.
Knitting time: About 2 hours each

They're pretty comfy. I'm not sure how much I'll wear them, but they were fun to knit and I might use the stitch pattern from the top for something else, I like the texture.
