fixing a hole.

My amazing friend, Jamie, made me these gorgeous fingerless gloves for Christmas last year, and while they're generally holding up well, they've developed a small hole.

I really love these gloves, but I've never had to fix a hole before, so I have no idea how to go about doing so. Also, I have no idea what she used to make them, and I don't have any yarn that matches that color. It's a very small hole, so I don't know if I necessarily want to go out and buy a whole ball of yarn just to fix it, without any actual plans for the rest of the ball.

What should I do?
