Here's my predicament:
My cousin studied abroad in Argentina last year and brought me one hank of some beautiful alpaca yarn. It did not come with a label and she didn't tell me anything about where she got it, so I don't know much about it. It looks like worsted weight to me.
In any case, I'm at a loss for what to do with it. I've got about a bazillion scarves, so I'd rather not make another one. I'm also a broke college graduate heading to seminary in a little over a week so buying the One Skein book, which is very tempting, is out of my budget at the moment.
Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do with this yarn? Its beautiful and I want to make something special with it. I've browsed the internet and the posts in this community, but haven't found anything yet. I've been knitting for about 5 years and I can follow patterns well. I also just started crocheting around Christmas, so I know the basics there.
I would appreciate any suggestions you wonderful knitters may have. I've been enjoying and learning a lot from everyone's posts! Thank you.
